Şəki-Zaqatala region: 18: 6♂ 10♀, 1♀ larva (HNHM), 1♀ (LMEE); 19: 1♂ (HNHM); 20: 2♀ (HNHM), 1♂ (LMEE); 25: 1♀ (LMEE); 33: 1♀ (HNHM); 34: 16♂ 3♀ (HNHM), 9♂ 7♀ (LMEE).

Remarks. This spring emerging species has a disjunct area, including the Greater Caucasus ( Georgia, North Ossetia), Lesser Caucasus ( Armenia, Georgia) and the Central Taurus of Anatolia (Zhiltzova 2003, Darilmaz et al. 2016). In the Greater Caucasus of Azerbaijan, specimens were collected in high numbers along forest brooks of medium high elevations. It seems to be the only spring emerging Nemoura Latreille, 1796 species of the Caucasus. The species shows remarkable wing polymorphy: the types are all brachypterous and micropterous, later macropterous specimens were reported both from the Taurus and the Caucasian ranges ( Martynov 1928, Zwick 1971, Zhiltzova 2003). Most of our specimens are macropterous, with the exception of a single brachypterous male caught together with several macropterous specimens at Laza (site 34). These are the first detailed locality data from Azerbaijan.
