Type material. Holotype: Z 3079, Kuzmice ( Slovakia), illustrated in Švagrovský (1958, pl. 5 fig. 13), stored in the Slovak Natural History Museum (Bratislava, Slovakia).

Discussion. The sculpture of the early teleoconch whorls of this juvenile specimen suggests a placement in Crassispira Swainson, 1840 . Švagrovský (1959: 253, pl. 8, fig. 5) illustrated the holotype of Crassispira kuzmicensis again as Clavatula soceni vetusta , which is a nomen nudum and an objective synonym of Clavatula (Clavatula) kuzmicensis .

Distribution in Central Paratethys. Badenian (middle Miocene): East Slovakian Basin: Kuzmice ( Slovakia) (Švagrovský 1959, 1960a).
