Batch configuration and attachment: Securely attached, singly (Fig. 617).
Colour: Very pale green, becoming pale with small, sparse orange blotches (Fig. 617), then transparent on maturity.

Shape: Subglobular, anterior pole slightly truncated; slightly dorsoventrally flattened (Figs 617, 618 & 620).
Characteristics: Egg distinctly marked on all surfaces by hexagonal, slightly convex cells with narrow, recessed walls (Figs 618, 620 & 621). Aeropyles elevated, openings moderately large (Figs 618 & 619), present on all surfaces apart from wider, lateral side (Fig. 619 & 621). Cells in micropylar area slightly recessed. Chorion rough, wrinkled, coarser in micropylar area (Fig. 621).
