Shape: Moderately broad, bluntly ovoid, dorsoventrally flattened (Figs 717 & 720).
Characteristics: Soft chorion; egg marked on all surfaces by subquadrate, concave cells defined by aeropyles on rounded humps at junctions (Figs 720–723), except aeropyles absent on top of wider lateral side (Figs 720 & 722); anterior pole cells with narrow, slightly elevated walls (Figs 718 & 719). Aeropylar openings moderately small, aeropyles slightly elevated, often paired (Figs 721 & 723). Rosette cells slightly recessed (Fig. 719). Chorion undulating, with pronounced ridges mesal in each cell (Figs 721–724); ridges denser on anterior pole (Fig. 719).
