Shape: Narrow, elongated, compressed dorso­ventrally with narrow flat lateral sides perpendicular to wide flat lateral sides (pill­box shaped), elliptical from top view, subrectangular laterally (Figs 781, 783 & 784).

Characteristics: Egg marked on all surfaces by flat, rounded, hexagonal cells with narrow, slightly elevated walls (Figs 783–784); outlines faint on narrow lateral sides (Figs 784 & 786) and rim of wide lateral sides (Fig. 787). Aeropyles slightly elevated, inconspicuous, openings moderately small, in two narrow bands encircling egg longitudinally along upper and lower edges of narrow lateral sides (Fig. 787). Chorion deeply, regularly pitted on narrow lateral side, posterior pole (Figs 782, 786, 787 & 788); smooth, undulating on middle of top of wide side (Fig. 789).
