Shape: Moderately broad, subcuboidal, anterior pole truncated, slightly wider than posterior, polar profile subrectangular, dorsoventrally flattened (Figs 163, 164, 166 & 167).
Characteristics: Egg unmarked apart from hexagonal cells with slightly concave floors, aeropyles only visible on and around anterior pole (Figs 164, 166–168). Cell walls narrow, slightly elevated in micropylar area (Fig 164, 166–168). Cells surrounding
micropylar area outlined only by aeropyles sometimes numbering more than 6 at cell walls, aeropyles slightly elevated, openings moderately large (Fig. 168). Chorion generally smooth but granulated or blistered (Fig. 169).
