Shape: Broad, bluntly ovoid; anterior pole truncated; flattened dorsoventrally (Fig. 209).
Characteristics: Egg marked only on anterior pole by flat, hexagonal cells, with narrow, elevated walls and elevated aeropyles with moderately large openings (Figs 207 & 208). Chorion appearing sparsely blistered, granular in appearance (Figs 209 & 210). Cells in micropylar area slightly recessed (Figs 207 & 208).
