Shape: Broad, bluntly ovoid, polar profile circular, not flattened dorsoventrally (Figs 63 & 65).
Characteristics: Egg marked all over by hexagonal cells with concave floors and narrow and slightly elevated cell walls. Cell walls slightly wavy. Aeropyles elevated, domed, openings large, visible on all egg surfaces. Chorion deeply wrinkled and folded (Figs 63–66).
