Colour: Pale green, almost white, becoming white with sparse pale orange blotches (Fig. 80).

Shape: Moderately broad, sub­cuboidal, anterior pole wider than posterior, polar profile oblong, not dorso­ventrally flattened (Figs 80 –82, 84 & 85).

Characteristics: Egg marked all over by hexagonal cells with flat floors, narrow, slightly elevated cell walls (Figs 84–88). Aeropyles elevated, domed, openings large, present on poles and area adjacent to poles (Figs 82 & 87). Chorion ridged and folded (Figs 86 & 88), ridges more pronounced in the micropylar area (Fig. 87).
