Shape: Broad, bluntly ovoid, anterior pole wider than posterior, polar profile oblong, dorsoventrally flattened (Figs 128, 129 & 131).
Characteristics: Egg marked all over by hexagonal cells with flat floors, narrow, recessed cell walls (Figs 129–134). Aeropyles slightly elevated, domed, openings moderately large (Figs 132 & 133), present on all surfaces except area in middle of the top of egg (Figs 131–134). Chorion ridged and folded (Figs 132–134). Micropylar area slightly offcentred (Fig. 129).
