Shape: Broad, sub­cuboidal, anterior pole not truncated, same width as posterior pole, polar profile oblong, not dorso­ventrally flattened (Figs 106 & 108).

Characteristics: Egg marked on all surfaces with hexagonal cells with flat floors. Cell walls narrow, slightly elevated (Figs 106, 108–110). Aeropyles only present on poles, slightly elevated, openings moderately large (Fig. 106). Chorion appears rough due to sparse, shallow, filamentous ridges (Fig. 109); ridges denser on anterior pole (Fig. 110).
