Diagnosis. Adult ( Fig. 5 View FIGURES 4–6 ) with wingspan 12.5–16.5 mm in male and 16.0– 19.5 mm in female. The labial palpus yellowish brown mixed with reddish brown in male and fuscous in female; the first segment about 3/4 length of the second, and about 1.5 times as long as the third. The foreleg reddish brown in male and slightly fuscous in female, both male and female with the mid- and hindleg brown. The other characters of female is same as the description of male in Leraut, 2017. Vietnamodes dogueti can be easily distinguished from its congeners by the sinuous postmedial line of the forewing, the entire reddish brown color of the hindwing, and the apex of the sacculus with several tiny thorns in the male genitalia.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 11 View FIGURES 10–12 ) Papillae anales triangular. Apophyses posteriores curved at posterior 1/4, about 1.2 times as long as apophyses anteriores, both slightly sinuous. Antrum funnel-shaped, colliculum about 4 times as long as antrum. Ductus bursae scobinate on inner surface, gradually broadened at anterior 1/3. Corpus bursae membranous and ovate, about 1/3 length of ductus bursae.

Distribution. China (Hainan, Yunnan), Vietnam (Khánh Hòa).
