Simulium (Simulium) sp. B Takaoka & Davies, 1995: 131–132 (Pupa).
This unnamed species was described from a pupa collected from Gombak, Selangor (Takaoka and Davies, 1995). No additional material was collected from Gombak or elsewhere.
This pupa differs from those of S. (S.) jeffreyi and S. (S.) perakense sp. nov. by lacking spine-combs on abdominal segment 8. The pupal gill filaments are almost the same in arrangement as those of S. (S.) perakense sp. nov. but differ from the latter by the relative length of the dorsal five filaments, which are much shorter than the ventral five filaments.
