( Figs. 1 View FIGURE 1 E, J, O, 8A–G)

Body length (including tegmen): Male 5.0mm.

Head including eyes narrower than pronotum. Crown longer medially than next to eyes but shorter than width between eyes; anterior margin obtusely rounded in dorsal view; disc somewhat flat. Transition from vertex to frontoclypeus rounded. Frontoclypeus narrow, longer than width between eyes. Clypellus slightly expanded apically. Pronotum with anterior margin roundly produced and posterior margin slightly concave. Mesonotum and scutellum nearly 2 times length of head, suture curved. Forewings semi-transparent with veins dark-brown and most cells infuscated; brown maculae present on commisural margin at apex of each anal vein, at apex of clavus and on costal margin at apex of each transverse vein; forewing appendix wide; 4 apical cells present; outer subapical cell acute apically, three reflexed cross veins between outer anteapical cell and costal margin, with basal reflexed vein basad of outer anteapical cell brown with reddish bands.

Head pale, with transverse arcuate brownish band between eyes anteriorly slightly protruded at middle. Face pale. Pronotum with anterior marginal and posterior submarginal dark brown transverse bands. Scutellum with basal triangles brownish. Forewings pale brownish hyaline with dark-brown veins and darkening in most cells; spot on apex of claval veins and on transverse costal veins, dark brown.

Male genitalia. Pygofer in lateral aspect longer than broad, gradually narrowed posteriorly, posterior margin conically rounded, with row of long macrosetae apically and scattered setae on apical half. Subgential plate long, exceeding caudal margin of pygofer, 3.5 times longer than greatest width near base, with lateral marginal row of macrosetae. Style short, with broad deeply incurved anterior part, lateral lobe large, rounded, apical process broad at base, curved to apex. Connective with long and developed stem 2 times length of arms, processes divergent and curved dorsally and twisted subapically, with lateral spine at apical 1/3 and subapical region roundly produced. Aedeagus short, with well developed dorsal apodeme and pair of short processes at base, shaft compressed; gonopore caudal and subapical.

Material examined. Holotype ♂, Guangxi, Jinxiu County, Yinshan Park , 19. vii. 2015, Hao Yanan ( NWAFU).

Etymology. The specific epithet ‘ proxaprocessus ’ refers to the aedeagus with two processes at the base.

Distribution. China (Guangxi)

Remarks. The new species is very similar to S. varius , but can be distinguished from the latter by the distinctive connective processes and aedeagus with a pair of short processes at the base.
