Distribution in the Arabian Peninsula: Bahrain, Oman, Yemen ( Falahatpishe et al. 2016), Saudi Arabia ( Gadallah & El-Barty 2011), United Arab Emirates ( Schmid-Egger 2017).
Extralimital distribution: Southern Europe and Mediterranean to Mongolia, Russia (North Caucasus), Syria ( Priesner 1955, 1965; Wolf & Perraudin 1978; Wolf 1990c, 1997, 2005; Wahis & Terzo 1996; Wahis 1998, 2005; Zonstein 2001, 2002, 2007; Standfuss & Standfuss 2003; Yildirim & Wahis 2011; Loktionov & Lelej 2017a), Iran ( Falahatpishe et al. 2016).
