Afrotropical: 1) Lesotho ( Walker et al. 2000, Kolonin 2009).

Rhipicephalus deltoideus is known from one male and three females collected in Lesotho and used by Neumann (1910b) to describe this species because all other records from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, South Africa and Uganda were misidentified or unconfirmed, as discussed in Walker et al. (2000).
