Oriental: 1) China (south); Palearctic: 1) China (north) ( Chen et al. 2010, Zhao et al. 2021).

Camicas et al. (1998) listed Haemaphysalis moschisuga as a Palearctic species, but there are records of this tick from southern China, which is within the Oriental Region.
