Nearctic: 1) Canada, 2) Mexico (north), 3) USA ( Keirans & Clifford 1978, Robbins & Keirans 1992, Lindquist et al. 2016, Acosta et al. 2020).

Ondrejicka et al. (2016) presented molecular evidence suggesting that more than one species may exist under the name Ixodes soricis .
