Afrotropical: 1) Kenya, 2) Zimbabwe ( Walker 1974, Norval et al. 1987).

Norval et al. (1987) found specimens from Zimbabwe “resembling” Ixodes walkerae , and that country is provisionally included within the range of this tick.
