Type material. Holotype: ♂, Fazenda São José, Eldorado do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, 30 °01’S, 51 ° 36 ’W, 12.X. 1998, L. Moura ( MCN 29742 View Materials ). Paratype; ♂, Cachoeira do Sul, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, 29 ° 53 ’S, 52 ° 55 ’W, 02.XII. 1992, R.G. Buss ( MCTP 3674).

Additional material examined. None.

Etymology. The specific name is a noum in apposition taken from the type locality.

Diagnosis. Palp of Eustala eldorado n. sp. ( Figs 65, 66 View FIGURES 65 – 74 ) similar to those of E. guarani n. sp. ( Fig. 1 View FIGURES 1 – 9 ) by the curved terminal apophysis in mesal view ( Fig. 65 View FIGURES 65 – 74 ). Differs from this species by the conspicuous pointed tegular projection ( Fig. 66 View FIGURES 65 – 74 ) and by the long and strongly sinuous embolus, in mesal view ( Fig. 65 View FIGURES 65 – 74 ).

Description. Male (holotype, MCN 29742 View Materials ): Carapace pale yellow with many setae near the thoracic furrow.

Sternum pale yellow with gray border. Abdomen diamond-shaped, with a small posterior hump, numerous setae, and two additional terminal humps ( Figs 67, 68 View FIGURES 65 – 74 ). Dorsum pale yellow with a wide dark gray folium. Venter pale yellow with a well-defined dark gray band from the epigastric furrow to the spinnerets, with a circular median white patch. Legs yellow with brown bands. Total length 7.9. Carapace length 3.5, width 2.9. Leg formula 1243; length leg I: femur 5.1; patella+tibia 6.6; metatarsus 4.4; tarsus 0.7; total 16.8. Patella+tibia II 4.9; III 2.5; IV 4.5.

Female: Unknown.

Variation. Male (n= 2): total 7.7–7.9; carapace length 3.5–3.7, width 2.8–2.9. Carapace and legs orange, legs with bands more or less wide. Inconspicuous abdominal humps.

Distribution. Brazil: Rio Grande do Sul ( Fig. 86 View FIGURE 85 – 87 ).
