REMARKS. This is a small cicada (body lengths 12–14 mm), probably green when fresh fading to yellowish green with only small markings on the prothorax and mesothorax, the abdomen is greenish castaneous.

DISTRIBUTION. The species has been reported from Argentina and Bolivia ( Duffels & van der Laan 1985; Sanborn & Heath 2014). Although the holotype and allotype are described only from Bolivia, Torres (1963) reports paratypes from Santa Cruz, Buenavista (sic), and Tacanas.
