The lateral lobes higher than width. Prosternum unarmed, meso-and metasternum strongly transverse, the former with entire, smooth anterior and lateral margin. Sc and R separated from the base of the tegmina, the Rs emerges from the proximal part of the R. The hind wings shorter than tegmina. Each leg armed on the internal ventral margin of the femur. Tympana similar on both sides of fore tibiae. Cerci relatively straight, curved inwards dorsally. Apex of male subgenital plate stalk-shaped, with long styli.
