COMMENTS: In the original description, Brehm did not list a type or mention how many specimens he examined. Hartert (1918a: 15) by listing the above specimen as the type of septentrionalis , designated it the lectotype. Other specimens cataloged in AMNH as septentrionalis were collected after the publication of the name.
