Additional description. Male. Head. Elongate, hIgher than long. Eye brIdge 4 facetS wIde. 4th flagellomere wIth l/w IndeX of 1.8, haIrS Shorter than the dIameter. PalpuS 3-Segmented, all SegmentS long and SlIm, the Second Shorter than the thIrd; the fIrSt Segment aS long aS the Second and the thIrd together, wIth a few brIStleS and very Short brIStle-lIke SenSIllae. Labrum and proboScIS elongate, needle-lIke, aS long aS the head hIgh. Thorax. Brown, aS well aS coXae and legS. Scutum wIth very Short haIrS, Some lateral and preScutellar brIStleS are longer. Scutellum wIth 2 Stronger and 2 weaker margInal brIStleS. PoSterIor pronotum bare. WIngS brownISh; R1 = ¾ R; c dIStInctly Shorter w; y = X, bare; CuA-Stem longer X; poSterIor veInS dIStInct, wIthout macrotrIchIa. Haltere Short, brownISh. TIbIal organ of the fore tIbIae wIth a SemIcIrcular bordered patch of brIStleS; the mIddle and the hInd tIbIae wIth equal and moderately long SpurS. ClawS wIthout teeth. Abdomen. The fIrSt fIve abdomInal tergIteS wIth long haIrS, the SIXth wIth long and denSe haIrS, the Seventh wIth a denSe cluSter of brIStleS on a black area In the mIddle of the dIStal border. The hypopygIum bearS StrIkIngly long brIStleS on the outSIde of gonocoXIteS and gonoStyluS; gonoStyluS long-oval, the Inner SIde IS concaved along the entIre length; at the tIp wIth denSe haIrS, two SpIneS are located Somewhat SubapIcal aS well aS a long whIp-laSh haIr. The tegmen IS apIcally rounded, wIth a dIStInct area of fIne teeth. The aedeaguS IS rather Short. CercI are unuSually long. Body length: 4.5 mm.

Comments. The SpecIeS IS SImIlar to Eugnoriste occidentalis becauSe of long haIrS on the abdomInal tergIteS, long brIStleS on gonocoXIteS aS well aS gonoStyluS and a long, needle-lIke mouth part. It dIfferS by a Shorter proboScIS (aS long aS the head hIgh), long oval gonoStyluS and Shorter flagellomereS.
