Distribution. Western Atlantic—USA (North Carolina, Florida), Gulf of Mexico, Antilles, and Brazil (São Paulo) ( Powers 1977; Williams 1984; Soto 1985; Abele & Kim 1986; Felder et al. 2009; present study).

Remarks. This is the first report of Pseudomedaeus agassizi for Brazil. Sequences accession number (GenBank): CCDB 4357—16S ( MF490211 View Materials ) ( Mantelatto et al. 2018a), CCDB 5459—COI ( MT623338 View Materials ) (present study).
