Turkey: 1 ex., "Yarpaz" [recte Yarpuz?], 8.-12.V.1982, leg. Rydh (cWun) .

Syria: A ♂, Tartus, 6.IV.1990, leg. Reuter (cFel) .

Israel: 1 ex., Zefat , light trap, 20.VI.2006, leg. Kuslitzky ( TAU) ; 1 ex., Golan Heights , Bental reservoir, W Merom Golan, ca. 1000 m, stony wetland near shore, 30.IV.2006, leg. Wrase (cSch) ; 1 ex., same locality, 25.III.2008, leg. Assmann (cFel).

Iraq: A ♂, N Mosul, SW Hakkâri, Al-Amadiya, 1200 m, 28.IV.2007, leg. Reuter (cFel) .

Iran: 1 ex., Kermanshah province, Harsin: Nosratabad , 34°12'N, 47°46'E, 1700 m, 24.VI.2004, leg. Frisch ( MNHUB) GoogleMaps ; 1 ex., Lorestan province, SE Dorud, Saravand , 2050 m, 27.VI.2004, leg. Frisch (cAss).

Comment:

The above specimen from Turkey was probably collected in Yarpuz in Antalya; to my knowledge, there is no Turkish locality called "Yarpaz". The previously known distribution of this species was confined to Cyprus, " Syria ", and Turkey; in Turkey it was recently recorded from Konya, Kahramanmaraş, Urfa, and Hakkâri ( ASSING 2007a). The above specimens from Iran, Iraq, and Israel represent new country records.
