MATÉRIEL EXAMINÉ. — Vanuatu. Santo Island, Penaoru camp, à vue, 19.XI.2006, rec. Frédéric Durand, ♂ (MNHN EY1999).

REMARQUE

Cette espèce pourrait être M. rambutwan mais la clé de Cheesman (1936) ne permet pas de l’identifier avec certitude. Ce spécimen a la totalité du dos couvert d’une pilosité orange. Comme les deux espèce précédentes, il pourrait avoir été importé via les transports maritimes.
