Diagnosis (from A. M. Clark (1970))

Series of oral papillae composed of stout paired infradentals, two adoral shield spines, no buccal scale, no ventral compartment ossicles. Single crescent-shaped tentacle scale on proximal segments. Two triangular supplementary adoral or oral shields.
