( Figs. 6, 12–16 View FIGURES 1–16 , Photos 5,6)
Material examined: ♂♂ ♀♀ China, Xinjiang, Mulei / Xinhu / 29 VII 1987 Wang Min ( CAU, 1♂ 1♀ CEHI) ; 1♂ 1♀ China, Xinjiang / Prov. Bogda Shan Mts. / NE Dabancheng / 15 VI 2001 Penati lg. ( CEHI).
The general habitus of rysakovi is close to that of the lugubris -group of smaller-sized Aradus species and is related to A. bimaculatus Reuter 1872 , which is distributed from Europe through Central Asia to Siberia. A. rysakovi was described from the Russian Caucasus; it seems to be very rare and was later only recorded from Armenia and the Pamir mountains in Tadjikistan ( Heiss 2007b). The Chinese records from Xinjiang indicate an extension of its distribution range to the east. New to the Chinese fauna.
The unknown male genitalic structures are illustrated (Figs. 6,12–16).
