Distribution. Western Atlantic: Bermuda, USA (Florida), Bahamas, Cuba, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Honduras, Gulf of Mexico, St. Thomas, St. Martin, Antigua, Guadeloupe, Panama, Isla de Aves, Martinique, Barbados, Trinidad, Isla de Blanquilla, Isla de Margarita, Isla de Cubagua, Los Roques, Tortuga, Bonaire, Curaçao, Venezuela, Brazil, Trinidade, and Martin Vaz ( Rathbun 1930; Alves et al. 2012; Poupin 2018; Mantelatto et al. 2020; Tavares & Mendonça 2022).

Material examined. Barbados, Reeds Bay, St. James , subtidal, 13°13’9.10”N, 59°38’32.44”W, 1 Ô CW: 15.6 mm ( BLSZ 013 ) . Drill Hall , St. Michael, nearshore rubble, 13°04’36.30”N, 59°36’26.63”W, 2 Ô CW: 21.8, 10.5 mm ( BLSZ 151 ) . Idem , 1 Ô CW: 20.1 mm ( BLSZ 254 ) . Coconut Court , Christ Church, nearshore rubble, 13°4’31.59”N, 59°36’13.78”W, 1 Ô, 1 ♀ CW: 10.2, 10.4 mm ( MZUSP 40880 ) .

Remarks. Specimens of Williamstimpsonia denticulatus were collected by hand at low tide in nearshore rubble, under rubble rock and caught in crab traps placed on rocky bottom (~ 4m deep) on the west and south coasts of Barbados. Ovigerous females were collected in August 2019, November 2019, and June 2021. Williamstimpsonia denticulatus is very abundant in Barbados in both nearshore rubble and nearshore subtidal habitats. Previously reported for Barbados as Cycloxanthops denticulatus by Rathbun (1921: 69) on specimens (one juvenile, USNM 76271; one male, USNM 76255; one male, one female, USNM 69030; one juvenile, USNM 57994) collected by the Barbados-Antigua Expedition in 1918.
