Diagnosis. Forewing length is 10–10.5 mm in males (10.5 mm in the holotype) and 11–11.5 mm in females. Barsine dubatolovi sp. n. is similar externally to B. mene sp. n., B. syntypicoida sp. n. and B. syntypica , but differs by its broader, more diffuse pattern elements. The male genitalia of B. dubatolovi sp. n. differ from those of B. mene sp. n., B. syntypicoida sp. n. and B. syntypica by their curved medial costal process (that is more or less straight in B. mene sp. n., B. syntypicoida sp. n. and B. syntypica ), more robust distal costal process, slightly longer and more robust distal saccular process, and much broader vesica. The female genitalia of B. dubatolovi sp. n. differ from those of B. syntypicoida sp. n. and B. syntypica by their much shorter antrum strongly broadened laterally (that is much longer and narrower postero-laterally in B. syntypicoida sp. n. and B. syntypica ), smaller sclerotized posterior area of corpus bursae, stronger spinulose scobination of the anterior section of corpus bursae, and much narrower appendix bursae.

Distribution. Endemic of Palawan Isl. (The Philippines).

Etymology. The species name is dedicated to Dr. Vladimir V. Dubatolov (Novosibirsk, Russia), a famous expert in Lepidoptera taxonomy.
