Distribution. NSW, Qld, SA

Hosts. LEGUMINOSAE: Acacia pendula ( Martin, 1999) . OLEACEAE : Notelaea longifolia (ANIC). RUTACEAE : Acronychia sp. ( Martin, 1999); Melicope (Euodia) sp. ( Martin, 1999); Geijera parviflora ( Martin, 1999) . SAPINDACEAE : Alectryon oleifolium ( Martin, 1999) .

Comments. This species is usually more common in xeric habitats than other Aleurocanthus species. A. froggatti has a characteristic submarginal ring of 9 pairs of short glandular spines of uniform length, clearly separating it from the closely related A. neofroggatti sp. n. has eleven pairs of glandular spines.
