Recently reported from Bulgaria: Slavyanka Mts ( Lazarov 2005: 150), Maleshevska Mt. ( Lazarov 2007: 140) and Samokov Plain ( Kalushkov et al. 2008: 66). The reviewed materials (see also under Z. emilijae sp. n. and Z. zorba ) reveal that these records refer to Z. blagoevi (in Lazarov 2005) and Z. zorba (in Kalushkov et al. 2008). The material from Maleshevska Mt. ( Lazarov 2007) cannot be checked (probably lost) and is doubtful. Therefore, we remove Z. epirense from the Bulgarian checklist.
