Females

1. Opisthosoma spherical, with all opisthosomal projections subequal, vertically oriented ( Fig. 2 B).......... E. heterogaster

- Opisthosoma trapezoid; median posterior opisthosomal projection larger and stouter than the others ( Figs 7 B; 11 B)..... 2

2. MS pronounced. Eye mound with granular rows bordering all the frontal area of prosoma; median posterior opisthosomal pro- jection vertically oriented, with a blunt end ( Fig. 7 )................................................... E. rubripes

- MS discrete, almost absent. Prosoma dorsal face bearing a vertical row of tiny dark granules or a vertical dark stripe. Median posterior opisthosomal projection horizontally oriented, with end split in smaller tubercles ( Fig. 11 )............. E. planus
