Distribution in Iran: Alborz, Kerman ( Gussakovskij 1933; Pulawski 1971). General distribution: Iran, Israel, Kazakhstan, Turkey.

Remarks: The subspecies Tachysphex persa nigripes Pulawski, 1967 has been recorded from Iran ( Pulawski 1971).
