Nomenclature of Kalanchoe arborescens

Kalanchoe arborescens Humbert (1933: 163) .

Type:— MADAGASCAR. Toliara, southern Madagascar. southwest coast, Delta de la Linta, xerophytic bush, in sand, 1–10 m above sea level, small tree of 4–5 m tall, with a trunk of 2–3 m long, young branches and leaves fleshy, thick, corolla fleshy, pale green with pale purplish spots on the inside, 24–28 August 1928, [translated from the original French], J. H. Humbert & C. F. Swingle 5415 ([second-step] lectotype, Herb. P barcode P 00438070!
