Florarctinae View in CoL sp.

Material examined: 1 specimen ( PM: 1 male)

Remarks: The single collected specimen clearly belongs to the subfamily Florarctinae due to the presence of alae and hook-shaped peduncles on all feet. Only the frontal ala and very small anterolateral alae without ceastus are present. The caudal ala and posteriolateral alae are absent. Stylet supports, which are typically absent within Florarctinae , are present. Another prominent character of this specimen that is not typical of the subfamily is a large mediodorsal pedestal/lobe on which the median cirrus is inserted. The unusual combination of the presence of stylet supports and the absence of posteriolateral alae, caudal alae and ceasti prevents the placement of the specimen into any of the known genera of Florarctinae .
