Type species. Kinku turumanya n. sp.

Etymology. The generic name is a noun (invariable) taken from the Kichwa language meaning zigzag.

Diagnosis. Males can be distinguished from Telema and Usofila using the following combination of characters: palp without prolateral apophysis; bulb bell-shaped; embolus long two time the length of the bulb ( Figs 2, 3 View FIGURES 2 – 5 ); abdomen with pars stridulens anterioventrally and plectrum on coxae IV ( Fig. 9 View FIGURES 6 – 11 ). Females can be diagnosed by the lack of tapered setae on the palp ( Fig. 10 View FIGURES 6 – 11 ).
