Pseudokeissleriella Jian K. Liu (2022)

Pseudokeissleriella was introduced by Yang et al. (2022), with Pseudokeissleriella bambusicola as the type species. Pseudokeissleriella is the third monotypic genus (the other two are Katumotoa and Neoophiosphaerella ) in the family Lentitheciaceae . Pseudokeissleriella was identified as a distinct genus based on ascospore morphology and phylogenetic evidence ( Yang et al. 2022). We identified our new strain as an asexual morph (phoma-like) of Pseudokeissleriella bambusicola , mainly derived from its molecular data and morphological characteristics of other asexual morph genera.
