Length. Male: 3.7–3.9mm.
Stramineous. Vertex ivory with pale brown marks (Plate IV: D); frontoclypeus with fuscous arcs. Pronotum light yellow with six inconspicuous brown longitudinal bands (Plate IV: D). Legs marked with brown. Forewing with veins bordered brown (Plate IV: D).

Forewing macropterous, inner anteapical cell open basally.
Male genitalia. Subgenital plate fairly short, subtriangular, lateral margin slightly convex (Fig. 32D); style abruptly tapered to narrowly rounded apex from midlength (Figs 32B, 32C); aedeagal shaft fairly short, shorter than connective, broad in dorsal view, sometimes with a few spicules (Figs 32E, 32F).

Remarks. This species can be distinguished by the shape of the aedeagal shaft in dorsal view. Slight variation in the style apophysis was noted (compare Figs 32B and 32C).
Etymology. This species is named for our colleague Meixia Yang who has collected many of the specimens in this study.
