Moderately large to large species (10–20 mm), colour of body variable (Figs. 170, 183, 185, 187) elytra unicolorous or with yellow lateral margins, abdomen reddish or reddish brown with at most ligther tip. Head with interior ocular puncture situated far from inner margin of eye, ocular groove between interior ocular puncture and inner border of eye absent or very short and shallow, temples with two (exceptionally, three on one side of head) large setiferous postocular punctures ( Figs. 188 View FIGURES 183 – 188. 183, 184 , 190 View FIGURES 190 – 194 ), labrum lobate (e.g., Figs. 191 View FIGURES 190 – 194 , 202 View FIGURES 201 – 205 , 234 View FIGURES 233 – 237 ).
