( Figs. 1B View FIGURES 1 , 3B View FIGURES 3 , 5B View FIGURES 5 )

Description of holotype. Size: 7 mm. Body dorsally bicolored; head and elytra turquoise, pronotum carmine; frons golden-green; pronotum strongly transverse, widest at anterior margin; anterior pronotal lobe absent; elytra without pubescent stripes, glabrous; elytral apices widely separately rounded with margin distinctly denticulate; prosternal lobe large and arcuate, with very feeble arcuate emargination at middle; metasternal projection impressed.

Variability. Body length: 5.9–8.1 mm. The color of head and elytra varies from turquoise to dark olive-green and that of the pronotum from carmine to dark violet, which makes the bicolored aspect of dorsal side less obvious.

Diagnosis. The species is distinctive by larger size; by color of dorsal side and by the aedeagus ( Figs. 3B View FIGURES 3 , 5B View FIGURES 5 ) which has medial lobe (penis) acute apically with tiny hooks just before the tip.
