Paralgopsis paradoxus ( Trouessart, 1899)
Hosts and distribution. This species was described ex Pyrrhura leucotis (Kuhl) (as Conurus leucotis ), ex Aratinga pertinax chrysogenys (Massena and Souance) (as C. chrysogenys ) and ex Amazona farinosa (Boddaert) (as Crysotis farinosa ) ( Psittaciformes : Psittacidae ) from Colombia and Brazil ( Trouessart 1899). Later on, Gaud (1968) mentioned the same hosts, but without new records.
Remark. Only A. farinosa is present in Colombia ( Clements et al. 2011).
