Nur in der Umgebung von Zermatt (Distr. 3); hier abwärtsbis 1800m und tiefer (zahlreiche Beobachter), Z. B. Fallistutz, 1840m, Ober Moos, 1770 m; aufwärts bis 3015 m: bei der Gandegghütte (Thellung 1922) und 3040m: oberhalb der Gandegghütte,ein Exemplar (Becherer 1945).
