Horvathinia lenti De Carlo (1957) 1958: 47 View in CoL –49 (female, southern Brazil); Schnack 1976: 45 (notes). (Not examined). Brazil, Sao Paulo, Río Tamandús, 8XII1953, Travassus y Zago coll.

Note: This species was described and redescribed using the same morphological characters as those used to describe other species which we believe to be synonymous with H. pelocoroides View in CoL . Based on its description, we believe it too could be synonymous with H. pelocoroides View in CoL , making Horvathinia View in CoL a monotypic genus. Nevertheless, because the type specimen is not yet available for examination, we retain H. lenti View in CoL as a valid species.
