Distribution: India: NE India, Darjeeling, Sikkim ( Watson, 1967). Elsewhere: Bhutan, N. Burma ( Watson, 1967); Nepal ( Wilkinson, 1972).

Remark: Apart from below mentioned subspecies, two other subspecies are: O. vatama acutula Watson, 1967 ( China, Tibet) and O. vatama tsina Watson, 1967 ( China).
