Material examined. 1 larva with pharate pupa. BRAZIL, GO, Trindade, Córrego Barro Preto (16o 39’S, 49o 31’W), vii/2010, leg L. C. S. Carmo-Araújo (C2–38, LEIA /UFSCar).

Diagnostic characters. Larva: Antennal pedestale 58 µm long without spur; Lauterborn organs large, pedicels, including LO, 89 µm long, proximal half sclerotized ( Fig. 88 View FIGURES 83 – 93. 83 – 87 ). Clypeal S3 simple. Mentum 61 µm long, with white median tooth strongly notched ( Fig.91 View FIGURES 83 – 93. 83 – 87 ). Mandible as in fig. 90. Pecten epipharyngis with 3 long distally serrate scales ( Fig. 89 View FIGURES 83 – 93. 83 – 87 ). Pupa: Tergite III with paired bands of long spines curved outwards and internally lined with strong shorter spines; tergite IV with paired longitudinal bands of strong short spines somewhat curved; tergite V and VI with paired oval patches of strong short simple spines ( Fig. 92 View FIGURES 83 – 93. 83 – 87 ). Combs of segment VIII consisting of 35–40 teeth ( Fig. 93 View FIGURES 83 – 93. 83 – 87 ).
