Types: ♂ holotype from Peru: Moyobamba, Balsapuerto Trail; XII-1925. Originally deposited at the AMNH, cat. no. 9494 ( Chamberlin 1941), it is currently lost ( Martínez-Torres 2016).
Distribution: known only from the type locality.
