35. Scrophularia hyssopifolia Boiss. & Hausskn. View in CoL in Boiss., Fl. Orient. 4: 418 (1879)
Lectotype (designated by Lall & Mill 1978): — [ TURKEY. B6 Maraş] ad rupes montis Berytdagh Cataoniae , 2135 m, 11 August 1865, Haussknecht 1244 (holotype G!; isotype BM, K!).
Flowering time: —July–August.
Habitat: —Cliffs. Ca. 2135 m elevation.
Distribution: —Endemic. Irano-Turanian element.
Note: — Scrophularia hyssopifolia is known from Maraş: Berit Mountain. For this reason, field studies were carried out in many parts of Berit Mountain considering the appropriate seasons during the project. The studies were carried out in detailed field survey in habitats and altitudes where the plant could be found. S. rimarum , S. xanthoglossa var. decipiens and S. libanotica var. austriaca were encountered, but S. hyssopifolia species was not collected. In addition, flora studies of Yildiz (2001) on Berit Mountain and other studies in nearby areas ( Duman 1985; Aytaç & Duman 2005) were examined and no collection data related to this species could be found. It has been kept in the diagnostic key with the idea that it could be collected from the region in the future.
