HOLOTYPE. — Loureiro s.n. ( BM), Vietnam

( Cochinchina).

MERRILL (1935) and BEENTJE (1982) note that this is a later homonym for Nerium scandens L. However , we can find no evidence that the Linnean name was ever validly published which would mean the LOUREIRO name is not a later homonym.
